About Kat

I help organizations stop treating mental health like a checkbox and start fixing what's actually breaking their people.

I'm a keynote speaker and mental health educator who teaches teams how to reduce burnout, strengthen psychological safety, and actually use the mental-health tools they claim to offer. I'm known for grounded humor, sharp clarity, and making complex human behavior easy to understand and even easier to apply.

With nearly two decades in high-pressure industries like retirement planning, tech sales enablement, and financial services, I've seen how unclear communication, avoidant leadership, and "awareness-only" initiatives quietly fracture teams. My work blends lived mental-health experience, operational insight, and practical behavioral science to help employees and leaders communicate under pressure, support neurodivergent team members, and design workflows that humans can actually survive.

I've led sessions for audiences across tech, finance, healthcare, HR, mental health, and community leadership. Highlights include AbsenceSoft, NAMI Colorado, DisruptHR, Ignite Denver, and regional innovation communities like Denver and Boulder Startup Week, along with numerous corporate teams and professional groups.

My mission is simple. I want work to stop breaking people. I give leaders the tools to fix what's actually causing the strain, not just rebrand it.
