About Kat
I help organizations move past checkbox mental health programs and address what is actually breaking their people. My work centers on the real pressures employees face and gives leaders the tools to create environments where people can think clearly, communicate honestly, and stay human in the middle of demanding work.
I am a keynote speaker and mental health educator with nearly twenty years of experience in retirement planning, tech, and financial services. I have seen how unclear communication and avoidant leadership slowly wear people down long before anyone uses the word burnout. Because of that, my work blends lived mental health experience with operational insight and practical behavioral science. I focus on strategies that work in real workplaces, not theoretical ones.
I teach leaders how to support neurodivergent employees, communicate under stress, and design workflows that people can actually sustain. Audiences tend to describe my style as grounded, clear, and unexpectedly funny, and I take pride in making complicated human behavior easy to apply.
I have spoken for audiences across tech, finance, healthcare, HR, and community leadership. Recent sessions include AbsenceSoft, NAMI Colorado, DisruptHR, Ignite Denver, Denver Startup Week, Boulder Startup Week, and a wide range of corporate teams and professional associations.
My mission is simple. Work should not break people. I give leaders the language, structure, and confidence to fix strain at its source and build cultures where people can do great work without sacrificing their wellbeing.
