40 in my 40s

I met a girl around 1983. She was witty, imaginative, brave, brilliant, and resilient. She became my best friend. In high school, we drifted apart. Years (and years, and years) later, we reconnected online. I’m happy to report she continues to be witty, imaginative, brave, brilliant, and resilient. Earlier this week, she posted 40 dreams she intends to fulfill in her forties. I was inspired, so I compiled my own list. Thanks, Jen Kohan, for being my friend. I love you.

Full disclosure: It took me HOURS to write this, because I kept forgetting to send, and then losing the whole thing and having to start over. Did I write this first in Word? Yes. Did I then delete that document prior to saving it? Of course I did. So, my forty things kept changing slightly. I remembered one from an earlier draft, and it’s important. I need to add one more thing. So, this is now 41 in my 40s:

OK. With that out of the way, I also invite you to hit me up if you have any connections, or can help me cross any of these off my list! I’m excited!

Binge.

Circumstances.
