No rest for the restless.

I couldn't sleep last night. I finally gave up. Now, my typical approach whereupon realizing I'm awake for the day at an unusually early hour is to immediately begin dreading at what point in the day my crash will occur. I'm going to try exceptionally hard not to do that today.

It is hot in my house. And trying to do AM Yoga with an affectionate cat crawling all over you is not the relaxing waking up experience I'd been anticipating.

One forgets how crappy commercials are during off-peak times. Ah, Rocky's Autos. Aim low.

So, I'm wide awake right now, as previously mentioned, and I'm debating on what to do. Do I pick out an outfit, go into work early, and do some OT? Do I read for a while and take my time? Take a walk? I need an mp3 player. I know I'm getting old, because I still reflect back on the good old days (I said it) when we made tape and CD mixes. Ah, good times.

I think overtime is going to win, although a walk does sound nice. But, if I get to work early enough, I could walk downtown, which I find vastly better than suburb meandering.

The boudoir of the grape - that was a line used last night in the play, Fawlty Towers. That, and "televisual feast" were my favorite words shared.

Screw this. I'm going to get dressed. I may blog later in the day, just to see how my mood impacts my writing. I'd say this is a baseline - neither particularly happy or sad. Just awake.

Have a beautiful Tuesday. Remember to drink your coffee, if you do drink it. :)
